Here, you will want to find a suitable medicine, like Dymadon, that can help their symptoms. So make sure that you do some research into what could work for your children. And speak to your doctor to check that you’re finding the best option.

  1. Encourage Them To Sleep

If you can, you might find that it’s a good idea to get them to sleep. Because they may be able to sleep off what’s going on with them. This won’t always work if they cannot settle, but if you can comfort them and cuddle them off to sleep, this could make them the most comfortable.

  1. Make Their Food Fun

Now, one thing that you end up finding is that poorly children don’t always want to eat. Or their taste buds may be affected and there’s a ton of things that they may not really want to eat. And this can be hard for you because you really want them to eat, and they need to eat to get better. So here, you may find that fun recipes for kids could be a great way to work past this. So food becomes fun and could be more comforting for them.

  1. Bathe Them

You may also find that bathing them will help to comfort them. If they are aching, a nice warm bath might do them good. But at the same time, if they are too hot, a cool bath could also cool them down. So here, you might want to think about how running them a bath could really help them to feel comforted.

  1. Keep Them Cool

If you find that your child has a bit of a fever, then you’re also going to want to try and keep them cool. It’s going to be important that they are comforted with blankets if they want it, but then they may need to be wearing fewer layers and you may want to put a cool flannel on them. But then also, you’re going to want to think about keeping them hydrated with lots of water too.

  1. Relax With Them

But then finally, you may want to think about ways that you can relax with them. Because maybe you’re finding that your children just aren’t settling? Maybe you really can’t find out what is going to make them settle. Then you are going to want to comfort them and try to see if they can start to feel a lot better. Maybe having a duvet and movie day together could be what they need to start feeling better.
