Beanibubs Baby Beanbag
As parents we are always bombarded with the do’s and don’ts of parenting. The first few months of your baby’s life is spent sleeping, eating and pressing the repeat button. We are warned by midwives or our family paediatricians to never put our baby to sleep on their stomach, or to have their head sleeping in one position for any length of time to prevent your bub getting a flat head. Thus meaning that you have to constantly ensure bub doesn’t spend too long on one particular side or having to physically move their head during the night. It gets exhausting and sometimes all too confusing!
As a mum, I was so delighted when I came across a product that took away some of my worries and put my bub at ease. Beanibubs Australia baby beanbags are a must have baby item around the house. A bean bag for a baby? Yes! But one of the great things with the Beanibubs baby beanbag is that it will grow with your bub beyond their first years, & even be ideal for a toddler to relax back on.
If you’re looking for a baby beanbag like the Beanibubs reviewed here, Smooch Baby have some great options, like these Mini Beanz Bean Bags:

Beanibubs Australia baby beanbags are made with great quality material. The top layer of the beanbag is made out of Micro-suede, a breathable & soft material for your bub’s skin, preventing skin irritation from prolonged use. Being mirco-suede it’s extremely soft and you’ll find your bub snuggling into the beanbag. The base of the beanbag is made from a water-resistant oxford material. The Beanibubs baby beanbag takes 55-60 liters of beans. Beans are inserted into a dual pocket separator put in through a side pocket, which protects the interior bean housing with two separate zippers with the middle being completely void. This design is not only safe but also helps to better shape the beanbag.
The Beanibubs baby beanbag is extremely easy to clean. Simply remove the top cover and pop it into your machine on a gentle cycle, drip dried. The bases are spot cleanable as they do not retain moisture.
The Bean filling section is protected by child locks zips. Making it impossible for any curious baby/toddler to unzip. The zips are opened by a paperclip that lifts a trigger mechanism inside the slide fastener and releases the lock which will allow the zippers to slide. Beanibubs Australia baby beanbags come with 2 covers that can easily be changed. One cover is suitable for baby with a 3-point Safety Harness designed to firmly but comfortably hold Bub in place. Then as your little one grows and no longer needing the harness, the top can be changed to fit on a flat cover designed for toddlers.
Having a toddler and bub, I found being able to change the top covers extremely handy as both bub and toddler wanted to sit on the beanbag. I found it extremely easy to change the covers without feeling like I was in a gym class working out.
The design of the beanbag makes it the perfect product to deal with reflux and flathead. The bean filling can be moved around easily to the back of the seat to create a semi-upright seating position for your baby to sit in after feeding. Not only does this bring your bub comfort, it helps with their posture. Flathead is preventable as, Baby beanbags provide support to a baby’s head without unnecessary pressure. The tiny beans inside the bag mould easily to their head for a supportive seat. My bub especially loves the feeling of the tiny beans moulding to him. Occasional giggles are heard when his little body moves around and the beans are moving with him.
My kids loved the BeaniBubs Australia baby beanbag, in the chevron design. I often found my bub dozing off in it and kept him quite comfortable for any length of time and in view as I did the house work. My toddler loves sitting in this beanbag and parking up with a book. Being able to move the beans around I was able to please both children comfort needs. It should be noted, that a Baby Bean Bag is not to be used in lieu of an approved cot or crib. Baby Bean Bags are for seating, and Cots and Cribs are for sleeping. Due diligence should be undertaken when using a product like this.
