Bosch AQT 33-11 High Pressure Washer
I Love Summer. Sunshine, warmth, BBQ’s, lounging on the patio … but with the change from living primarily indoors due to it being cold, to living outside in the warmth there is always the outdoor clean up to be done! Windows, patios, doorways and outdoor equipment to be cleaned as well as cars to be cleaned more often as an excuse to get wet on a warm day.
With a hose and a brush these areas can take what feels like forever to clean which is why High Pressure Water Cleaners are so popular in Australia.
We’ve had one for a few years. It is big and bulky and really hard to use. I could NEVER get the hose connected properly so it would work. So when Bosch said they had a new Water Pressure Cleaner that is compact, easy to set up, with even more cleaning power I have to confess I wasn’t so sure…
The claims Bosch made about the New AQT 33-11 included that it has more cleaning power; it has a compact and stable design that is fast and easy to set up. They also said that it was ready to use straight out of the box, it has an in use gun storage facility, a fast high pressure detergent system and it stores away easily with all accessories carried on the machine. I was determined to put it all to the test!!
It arrived on Friday, which we had already planned to be car washing evening. Bonus! I set about getting it out of the box and making sure it was all set up ready to go. When they say that it is ready to use straight out of the box they aren’t lying! The water hose has to be connected, the gun needs to be assembled and the water hose connector screwed in, but it was super easy to assemble! I was so proud of myself as I carried it out to the front of the house all ready to go within a few short minutes. The journey down the hallway was made easier by the compact design and the weight of the unit which is around 4kgs for the whole set up. I was falling in love already…
As soon as I got outside where my husband was waiting he quickly took over and that’s when the Bromance between the Bosch AQT 33-11 (affectionately known as Boschy) and my husband began, and my love affair with the Bosch AQT 33-11 had to be put on hold.
He insisted that he was ‘just helping out so you can get photos’ but as time progressed I realised it was becoming more. Our cars have never been so clean, the patio is spotless and it looks like it will be that way for quite some time. Why does he love it so much? His favourite points are: It is so compact so that even when they aren’t together Boschy is easily able to be stored in the Man Cave, neatly and out of the way. The power means that it easily cleans everything in its way and he especially loves the detergent system although he warns that it does go through the detergent pretty quickly. There is enough in a container full to wash his 4WD but he suggests watering it down in the container slightly to avoid using way too much each time. The unit itself is stable and light which means he can take it anywhere with him, without having to drag it along. There is an adaptor included with the machine which enables you to use the nozzles from another brand of water pressure cleaner which meant he could utilise these nozzles as well which he said was handy!
He loves the water hose connections – they use a snap lock system which means they are really easy to connect and that we didn’t have exploding hose connections as I have previously using a screw type connection. The best part though (according to my husband) is that it does all this in a compact and light unit without losing any of the power from our previous larger system (which has now found a new home). From the sound of it I have no hope of being able to use Boschy until well into the New Year!
Bosch is a well-known brand in Australia so you know that when you buy a Bosch you are buying quality and that certainly showed in all of the accessories and connections.
The Bosch AQT 33-11 lives up to all the claims of being a compact, stable water pressure cleaner with fast and easy set up and more cleaning power.
It cleaned both of our cars effortlessly and is currently at work with hubby cleaning the patio (all I can hear is ‘it’s so easy’, ‘so light’, ‘it just works so well’). We are both really impressed with the unit itself and are looking at getting some of the other accessories such as the Car Cleaning kit and the Deluxe Patio cleaner. It is fabulous for cleaning all those outdoor areas and I imagine it will be fabulous for maintaining that – especially while the Bromance continues! The ease to set it up means that it doesn’t take long from deciding to use it and getting the job done. It isn’t too noisy either which is an aspect I like as my husband continues to foster his new Bromance during most of our waking hours.
I recommend the Bosch AQT 33-11 for anyone who has to clean cars, motorbikes, boats or outdoor areas. It really delivers on its promises is genuinely easy to use and gets the job done. My only problem now is getting hubby to part with it for a while so I can have a go!!
