Bosch PRA MultiPower Portable Radio

Music to me has the ability to turn my day around, to make me feel energetic and positive. As such I love listening to music while doing housework. My hubby does a lot of work outdoors and has often commented on getting a Portable Radio to give him the opportunity to hear songs he likes while working to make the day more enjoyable and go faster.

He would also love a portable radio for when we go camping, so when given the chance to review the Bosch PRA MultiPower Portable Radio I couldn’t wait to see what it could offer my family and to share my opinions of it.

The Bosch PRA MultiPower Portable Radio looks as though it is built to last. The design makes it solid and sturdy with speakers on either side which are slightly indented to stop the speakers being broken if the side of the portable radio hits into something. I like how all the cords and accessories needed for the portable radio can be stored within the back of radio. The Bosch PRA MultiPower Portable Radio comes with a DC-in Adapter and an AUX-in Cable. You can power the portable radio using the DC-in adapter or a Bosch Li-ion battery from your tools. I like how when utilising a battery for power you see a battery charge-control indictor on the screen display so you know when to recharge your battery.
The Bosch PRA MultiPower Portable Radio has a large display screen showing the time and the channel you are on. You can connect to AM/FM radio channels, to Bluetooth devices and your AUX cable easily through clicking on the source button. You can also pre-set your favourite channels so there is no need to keep fiddling around with the radio on a daily basis. Note: In order for the Radio to remember your pre-sets and the time you need to buy and insert back-up batteries (2 x AAA) into the back of the MultiPower Portable Radio. All of the buttons on the radio are large, easy to see and click with big fingers.

It offers an equalizer to provide optimum sound reproduction which gives you the ability to change the Bass and Treble setting. There is also an option to Mute it quickly and easily when needed. The volume on the portable radio is great and has a large variety in volume control. It offer the ability to go very loud which is ideal when there is a lot of noisy tools going on in the background.

A handy feature with the Bosch PRA MultiPower Portable Radio is the small spot it offers at the top of the radio for your phone or iPod. It offers an easily, safe and snug section so that your device is unlikely to get broken on the worksite.

All in all, hubby loves it, finds it easy to use and is enjoying having music when he works. As a mum I feel confident that it will not be easily broken by the children.
