Breville Kinetix to Go
The Breville Kinetix to Go offers a blender and a mini blending bottle, perfect for a quick fast breakfast on the go, to process soups or to create delicious salad dressings or dips fast.
With a large family, I was really happy with the size of the blender jug. The large 1.5L Jug means that I only have to blend the items once and can offer smoothies to the whole family. I like that the Jug lid has a rubber component around the rim to ensure a good firm seal. This is great to stop the lid flying off when there is a lot of items in the jug. To ensure the lid comes off easily when required, Breville have added a great little finger circle to the top of the lid so that when you need to remove it, you can easily without issue or causing spills.
On the large Jug lid, there is another smaller lid that can be twisted open and removed so that you can add ingredients safely while blending. I liked how the Jug has cup measurements on its side so that you can see the quantities you are adding or much you have made.
The blades are stainless steel and serrated which helps enhance the cutting performance.
We added a number of frozen berries and ice cubes to our smoothies and both were processed without issue. The blades have also been contoured to the base of the jug, so that there are no places for lumps of food to hide without being blended. This is great for creating a better end result and also when cleaning as you are not struggling to get to the caught food particles. Washing the jug was simple.
Although the smaller bottle is ideal for creating a quick meal on the go, I found it most useful for creating Salad dressings and a dip when needed.
It just needs a little more liquid(oil) to help it process the items. Washing this item was also simple and putting the items into it as well and changing it over to a bottle was quick and easy.
Overall the Breville Kinetix To Go is easy to use and I like that the blender base comes with an ‘overload protection’ which helps protect the motor.
The machine has a nice compact size and could compliment the style in most kitchens. Both Jug and Bottle are BPA Free, shatterproof, dishwasher safe and have been developed to resist cracking in the dishwasher for up to 10 times longer than polycarbonate jugs. You can tell that they are good quality
