The Scooter for Dad that will get the whole family active together

I love the idea of enjoying family time together and sometimes finding activities that Dad can enjoy with the kids determines the amount of quality family time that is undertaken. We have recently been testing the Globber 230 NL Scooter which is a great gift for Dad.

With limited set up, dad will not need to spend time working out how to get the scooter working and can just start enjoying it. Dad’s of all shapes and sizes can enjoy the Globber NL 230 which has 3 height adjustments and a wide base board. Globber advises that it will support up to 100kgs, although we have tested it at a little more than that and it was okay.

With loads of excitement, the kids escorted Dad outside to test the adult scooter immediately. We found the Globber NL 230 to offer a smooth ride. The lightweight aluminium design and 230mm bi-injection PU casted wheels offers a faster ride, while the wider deck with grips helps Dad keep his balance and makes a nervous rider feel more at ease. The Globber NL 230 has thick, wide cushioned handles with are comfortable for your hands and ideal for longer rides.

There are two brake options; the first next to your hands and a back brake to use with your feet. The back brake is more effective and is also easy to use once you get used to it.

This adult scooter folds up to make it super portable as the handles fold in as well when collapsed.

I found the scooter easy to collapse and open with a simple button. I like that when collapsed it clicks together, making it easier to carry around. When folded, the scooter is quite compact, making it ideal for Adults catching public transport to get to work or their public transport option quicker and easier. The Globber NL 230 is also ideal for those using it at night as it comes with a high-reflective print design on the pole.

We have also tested the Globber One K which offers a sturdier, durable and more traditional type of Adult Scooter. In comparison; the Globber NL 230 is much lighter, more portable and at a price of only $230 it offers an affordable gadget for dad.
