Globber ONE K 180 Adult Scooter

I haven’t seen my husband quiet as excited as the day I showed him the Globber ONE K 180 Adult Scooter in quite a while. Not only does he love it; I do too! The Globber ONE K 180 offers a good quality scooter that has a well thought out design along with good looks and the strength to back it up.

Perfect for larger teens and adults, the Globber ONE K 180 scooter comes with a longer and wider base for our bigger feet. Made from tough aluminium, Globber advise that it is wide and low to the ground to resist against wear from intensive use. The Globber ONE K 180 recommends weight up to 100kgs, however my husband at 127kgs has ridden it numerous times with no issue.

I love the way the Globber adult scooter enables us to ride with our children. I take it on school runs when Master J and I scooter to the school to pick up his siblings and it is our preferred mode of transport around campsites. Compact, portable and easy to use we enjoy going for rides with our children while camping. The Globber ONE K 180 receives a lot of attention from other parents. Many of the times we have been out and about on the scooter we have heard other children exclaim in glee that their parents should get one and we have also heard many dads comment on how great the scooter looks and that it is built well in addition to a few that have approached us to ask us about it.

The wheels on the Globber ONE K 180 are much bigger than normal scooters and they turn very well so it is a smooth ride. It comes with a flip down stand so you can ‘park’ the scooter upright when not in use which I like and this also helps to keep the scooter in better condition. The wide curved handlebar is comfortable at just a little wider than my shoulder width. We tested the Globber ONE K 180 with a fixed handlebar. The handlebar is almost 1 metre off the ground making it a good height for most adults including my husband at 6 feet 5 inches tall. It comes with both a back brake and a front brake (more traditional) on the handlebars. I’m very grateful for the front brake as I use it often and feel much safer with it.

One of the key features of the Globber ONE K 180 is their revolutionary Kleefer system which enables you to fold the scooter up quickly and easily with a simple kick button at the base of the T-Bar. This works really well and once folded, the scooter is much more compact for easy storing or you can wheel the scooter behind you when walking.
