Family Holiday Packing made easy thanks to the spacious Rhino Cargo Case.
We kept looking at the option of a cargo case that could hold our clothing and be rugged enough to stand up to our family demands; be it kids, weather or campsite dust.
Going on a family holiday is a fantastic way to bond and enjoy each other’s company. However, like most families we struggle to fit all the holiday ‘essentials’ into the space we have. With clothing for five, bikes, scooters and camping gear for all, we quickly run out of space.
As we were heading to Dubbo for a week, we kept looking at camper trailer storage options that would mean we could bring everything we need. It quickly became clear that a heavy-duty plastic cargo box was an ideal solution for our clothing. Combined with a few bike fork mounts to offer a suitable bike storage solution whilst towing a camper trailer.
After researching cargo cases; we spoke to the team at Rhino who in conjunction with Bunnings offered us one of their Cargo Cases to test and review.
The Rhino Cargo Case ticked all the boxes we were looking for. It is lightweight, durable, dustproof and waterproof. This means it can be kept on top of the camper trailer whilst driving and then around the campsite as needed without worrying about the ‘precious cargo’ inside getting ruined.
We tested the Large Rhino Cargo Case (1200mmL X 550mmW X 400mmH) and found its size to be great. We were able to fit in all the clothing and shoes for the 5 of us for an entire week.
To me, one of the biggest benefits of the Rhino Cargo Case is that it is so versatile.
We used it to transport clothing and once our campsite was set up, it was a great storage box that held our annexe walls, excess camping gear and was also used as a place to keep shoes neatly. Securing it to our trailer was super easy and it didn’t budge an inch for the entire trip.
Made from Polyethylene, the Cargo Box is surprisingly lightweight (when empty). It comes with two good carry handles to make lifting/moving it easy.

I also love the fact that it can be stacked as my mind is already racing to buy another smaller option for our canvas annexe walls to keep in all the time.
