I was a little hesitant to test out the device as I wasn’t sure how my skin would react. As with all other skin care products, it is recommended to spot test the device before use. I was pleasantly surprised that the treatment didn’t take long at all. It took only 5 minutes to do my face and the results are immediate. As I was undertaking the process I noticed an immediate cleansing of my pores. Immediately after treatment, there was a slight redness to my face, however this disappeared within minutes. Following the treatment my skin felt tighter and smoother for days.

Using the microdermabrasion device is very simple. Simply charge and use, replacing the filter after each go. There is a little knack to getting the suction working correctly (without giving yourself a hickie) but you can very quickly and easily work this out. In addition to this, pulling your skin taunt will help you when going over certain areas. The Homedics Radiance Microdermabrasion kit comes with two salon grade diamond exfoliation tips for normal and sensitive skin. It has with 4 speed settings so that you can adjust the settings to suit your individual skin needs. The speed settings are shown on a LED level indicator which makes it quick and easy to see which setting you are on.
