So, let’s talk about Lelo! This week my husband Jack and I were lucky to try and test three Lelo products, gifted to us by Swedish sexual wellness company Lelo. The brand, created in 2003, prides itself for bringing into the market unique, innovative and luxurious products “entirely different from everything and everyone else”. I must also add that Lelo products sit towards the luxury end of the pricing scale.

The products gifted to us included the Sona 2 Cruise, the Ora 3 and the TOR 2.

Lelo Sona Cruise 2 – The Clit Sucking Toy

Lelo’s Sona Cruise 2 is a clit-sucking type of sex toy with cruise control (hence the name Cruise) technology! I must say there was quite a learning curve for this toy. Unlike other toys that you put on your pleasure area and enjoy, this one was quite tricky.

Initially, I just held it down there as I normally do with similar clit sucking toys, but the strength of the suction was so powerful that it woke up my nerve cells almost immediately and made me climax. It was so quick that it made it borderline uncomfortable. My skin was not enjoying it and I feared I could get bruises.

Eventually, I realized that it needs just very subtle contact with my clit and the sonic waves will do the work. Once I figured that out – WOW!. It worked magically! No doubt one of the best clit stimulators on the market. For me, this toy worked best for solo use. When my husband tried to handle it, it was hard to explain to him how much pressure he could use before making me cringe!

Well, it took me a while to get around the concept of cruise control on something that was not a car – and I hardly use it on my car! Lelo Ora 3 – The Clit Massager Toy

Lelo’s Ora 3 is, according to its packaging, an “oral pleasure simulator”. This product is designed to simulate oral sex sensation on the clitoris. The first striking thing about this clit-stimulator is the unique design: a torus or ring-shaped style that is incredibly ergonomic and comfortable to hold onto for extended periods of time.

The Ora 3 has a rotating nub that simulates the tip of the tongue. So, how did it go? The Ora 3 is a very pleasurable toy to play with.

It probably isn’t the most powerful one in terms of getting you to quickly climax, but I think that is a good thing, especially considering my initial experience with the Sona Cruise 2. Rather than a zero to WOW within half a second, this toy is more like a wow, wow, wow, Wow, WOW! It provides a nice crescendo sensation until you get there.

My husband, Jack, helped me with it and the toy was great for both solo and couple play. But what about the rotating nub? Does it feel like a human tongue? Hmmm, I didn’t think it was that close, however that is not to say it is bad. Not at all. It still provides a very pleasurable experience for clitoris owners. Lelo TOR 2 – The Cock Ring

Lelo’s TOR 2 is a ring to be used by penis owners and enjoyed by them and their partner. After trying the Sona Cruise 2 and the Ora 3, Jack and I were looking forward to try this vibrating cock ring. Although, understandably, Jack is always a bit apprehensive before ‘putting a ring on it!’ Haha!

Lelo’s design and soft material were once again spot on. It was soft, stretchy (during placement), firm (once in place) and presented some very powerful vibrations – easily felt by both – for a small toy.

Is Lelo worth the high-end prices?

There certainly are great budget sex toy options on the market. Indeed, most of my sex toys fall into the budget category! Nevertheless, given the design, the innovative technology, silky-smooth silicone and, most importantly, their ergonomic features, I believe Lelo is worth the extra price you pay.
