The Mini Beanz Toddler Lounge offers a stylish, comfortable lounge chair for your child.
It looks and acts like a purpose built couch for toddlers which they love for so many reasons. Firstly it is ‘theirs’. Secondly they can move around the room easily to watch TV, put into their pretend house or to read a book on. Thirdly the side pocket enables them to keep their water or milk bottles nearby and ready for when needed.
The predetermined shape of the Toddler Lounge offers greater stability for the younger children while the beans can be modified to make the seat comfortable for each individual user.
Available in pick and white check or blue and white check, they look great and will be a fashionable accessory to any nursery, bedroom or TV room. We chose it as a reading chair when completing a bedroom makeover for our daughter.
The Toddler Lounge comes empty and requires filling. All that is needed is around 50-60L of Polystyrene beans (available from any major department store). It is a simple two person job that has been made easier with the neck provided in the inner bag to help direct the beans into the bag. We filled the bag with minimal spillage of the beans. When the beans are added they quickly and easily fill into the right places to create the lounge look. Apart from a simple shake of the bag and pushing them around the actual seat area there is nothing else to be done to arrange the beans correctly.
The Mini Beanz Toddler Lounge comes with an outer design layer and a separate inner bag to hold the actual beans.
This is fantastic especially around children as the design (outer) layer can be easily removed and machine washed without disturbing the inner bag of beans.
My daughter loved using the carry handle to move the Toddler Lounge around as desired. In addition to this, the handle is big enough for even my husband’s hands to fit into and around so that he can carry it easily. As the chair is filled with beans, it is very light to pick up and move around. The material of the design layer is thick and unlikely to be ripped or broken accidentally. It has a good quality feel that should make it a long lasting lounge chair for your toddler. The side pocket is around 10cm by 10cm and will fit any milk or water bottle into easily. The zipper works well and is easy to zip back and forth without getting stuck.
To protect your children and your house from stray beans, the Toddler Lounge base bag has a safety zipper which can only be opened with the use of a paper clip.
Mini Beanz provided the zip complete with paper clip for set up (very helpful) and they then recommend the paperclip to be removed once you are satisfied that you have completed your bean bag set up.
The Toddler Lounge is suitable for Toddlers aged from 1year onward until the child weighs around 20kgs.
