The Muslin Wraps

The Plum Sleeping Bag
I love the idea of Sleeping bags. With extremely active children (even in their sleep), they move around and get out of the blankets while sleeping, which worried me especially at winter time. The sleeping bag presents the ideal solution to this as it keeps your child warm throughout the night without other blankets and bedding. It is also a method endorsed by Sids and Kids as it reduces the ability for your baby to get trapped under blankets. The Plum sleeping bags are made from 100% high quality cotton and they feel so soft. The material is beautiful as are the patterns available. We were sent a sleeping bag with a side zipper.
The zipper is easy to move up and down and there is double stitching around the arms, shoulders and neckline. There are double tabs over the shoulders as well to provide an extra firm closure along with snaps under the arms to adjust the tightness of the sleeping bag depending on your baby’s size. The bag also has a protector tab covering the zip end to protect your baby’s arm while providing extra security. The Plum Sleeping Bags are available in three thicknesses each given a TOG rating.
The TOG rating provides a measure of warmth for parents to understand which TOG is best suited for the weather. The TOG’s available are 0.5, 1.0 and 2.5. You can find more information on the TOG rating system below.
The Plum sleep bags have been tested and approved to Australian Standard AS/NZS 1249:2003 and British Safety Standard 8510:2009
I found that my son slept well in the bags and his chest and legs felt warm in the morning.
