Spencil Book Covers
Preparing for school is a job that, perhaps apart from the first year of school, is not a desirable task and is usually dreaded by mums. After battling busy shops, queuing for shoes, stationery and more we parents have the fun task of going home and then getting all the goods ready for school. Part of that involves covering a number of books – a task that is time consuming, frustrating and generally results in tears or arguments.
I am very excited that my child is starting school and I want to be enthusiastic and involved in the process, however, as a busy working mum with a newborn I simply do not have hours to sit and cover books. On top of this, I suck at putting Contact on and would have to hand my child a bubbly book as the finished product – not great as a first impression.
Thankfully I have just tried and can honestly say I give my stamp of approval to Spencil’s range of book covers.
These non-toxic PVC slip-on book covers come in a range of designs from renowned international artists, all created for primary school aged children. They take less than a minute to slip the book into and write your child’s name on. In fact, it was so easy that I wanted to see if my children could do it. My 5-year-old daughter had her book covered in less than a minute and after explaining what to do once, did not need any help. The same applied to my 3-year-old son. The Spencil book covers are that easy a 3 year old can do it in less than a minute! Show me anyone who can Contact a book that looks half decent in that amount of time.
These book covers offer a number of benefits; firstly in that the job traditionally left for parents to do can be a job for anyone and secondly in allowing the children to pick their desired design and take pride in getting their books ready for school. No longer will I need to battle the Contact and the bubbles! J
