The Christmas Yearbook
It’s the most wonderful time of the year but if you asked me what I did for Christmas two years ago I would barely remember. So, I really like an idea of capturing memories in a Christmas yearbook.
This book will be suitable for both those that did and didn’t do a baby book for their kids. I keep a baby book for both of my kids because I remember how much I enjoyed reading my baby book when I was a kid.
However, I have already been a lot slower at filling in my second child’s book due to the content required to be written.
The Christmas Yearbook is so brief that even the time poor parents can fill this in. Each year contains four pages:
Page 1 – photo- Page 2 – where you are spending Christmas, with who and a brief description on events
- Page 3 and 4 – short messages for those joining you at Christmas to fill in
Pages 3 and 4 are relatively blank so if you can forget to take it to Christmas it could be used to write more or print off more photos.
My family still does a very large Christmas however it is getting smaller by the year as my cousins start to get married and have kids of their own. This will be a great memory for my kids as to who their extended family, such as their 2nd and 3rd cousins, are.
The Christmas Yearbook contains approximately pages for 22 years. At this stage I am planning to put this away in late December with the other Christmas books and get it out once we put out the other decorations in early December.
I am hoping keeping it in the Christmas box eleven months of the year will make the Christmas Yearbook even more special.
