Tupperware UltraPro 3.3L Rectangle Dish

The Tupperware UltraPro 3.3 Litre Rectangle is the latest in Tupperware’s popular UltraPro range and it is the all-rounder family member. Stylish, minimalist and versatile the UltraPro range can do it all and is designed for use in the microwave, oven, fridge and freezer, offering a lightweight baking dish.

We tested the UltraPro 3.3L Rectangle which is large enough to cook good sized family meals. The rectangular shape gives it a good shape to cook casseroles, bakes and puddings. Even better, the cover to this dish can be used separately to roast vegetables on!

To test it I started with a chicken and saffron risotto. I was amazed at the simplicity of the dish along with the way it cooked the risotto. The rice came out perfect; the dish was easy to use and then when we were finished it was so simple to scoop any remaining rice out of the dish and I was very impressed that none of the rice stuck to the dish. I left it out overnight and put it in the dishwasher the next morning to test its cleaning ability and when the load had completed the UltraPro container was perfect; clean, dry and ready for its next use.

As the UltraPro 3.3 L Rectangle comes with a cookbook featuring all the yummy recipes you can cook in it I wanted to try the Quinoa, Spinach and Ricotta bake (it just sounded so yummy). The design idea behind the UltraPro range is that it can speed up the cooking process as you can use Tandem Cooking; the combination of cooking a meal in both the microwave and the oven. This was my standout favourite dish of all the new recipes I have tried over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, the 3.3L rectangle container is too large for my microwave, however, I simply used a smaller dish for the microwave cooking and then the larger dish for the oven part. (Tupperware recommend the use of the UltraPro 2L Oval for this dish)

The Tupperware UltraPro range is designed very cleverly as the notches in the corners of the rim can be used as a spout to drain liquid and the steam vents on each side of the dish will help prevent steam build up while also directing steam away from you.

All in all the Tupperware UltraPro offers a versatile cooking dish that will last you a lifetime and yet looks good enough to serve at the dinner table. Within the UltraPro range, you can get the 3.3L Rectangle, a 3.5L Oval, a 2L Oval dish and some smaller 250ml UltraPro Cocottes (set of two) which are also brand new to the range this season.
