WotNot Facial Wipes
A couple of years ago my body started to rebel against me. The eczema I had as a child started to return and I started to pay more attention to what I not only put into my body but what I put on it as well.
As the eczema started to disappear I moved back from handmade, chemical free skin and cleaning solutions to readily available products.
The biggest issue I had with the skin products I was making was the shelf life. They just didn’t last as long which made them a little inconvenient for me.
As a result of the skin issues I developed I am always on the lookout for easy to use, natural and preferably organic solutions to my daily skin routine. The more convenient the better!

The first thing I love about these wipes is the re-usable travel case. This hard plastic, resealable case made from recycled materials is fabulous. Not only does it help to keep your facial wipes safe, seals to keep them moist and stops random wipes from falling out of the pack, it also has a mirror on the back. The mirror is fabulous for travel, when you are out and about or just for those lazy moments where you can’t be bothered hunting down a mirror – there is always one with you. The case isn’t too big and heavy and it fits into my handbag nicely.
Upon opening the packet the first thing that I notice is the lack of smell! I have tried other facial wipes and they always tend to be heavily fragranced. Wotnot facial wipes are not fragranced which is such a relief! I really do not like heavily perfumed products so I think the lack of perfume is fabulous! I first tried the wipes on a normal ‘no makeup’ type of day. The wipe itself was a really good size, not too big, not too small and it didn’t feel too wet or too dry. It felt really soft on my skin and I didn’t feel like I needed to ‘scrub’ in any spots as it came away leaving my face feeling quite refreshed and cleansed. Afterwards there was no stinging, no sticky residue my skin just felt soft and clean.
I am normally a moisturise straight away before my skin dries out type of girl but I decided to see just how much my skin loved Wotnot facial wipes and waited a while before heading to the moisturiser. I ended up being distracted and it wasn’t until 2 hours after I had used the wipe that I realised I hadn’t moisturised!!! Yet my skin still felt soft, no itchiness, no dry spots, no sudden shiny grease build up around my nose – my skin looked and felt perfect! Suddenly I’m realising that my usual cleanser isn’t as natural or as good for my skin as I previously thought… hmmm
In order to really put these facial wipes through their paces I have used them every day for the past 10 days now. I have used them to remove make up (including water proof mascara), in the morning and at night time and every single time they have exceeded my expectations.
I am using moisturiser after using them but only a tiny amount compared to what I was using before. When I was removing makeup with them I did feel like I had to rub a little harder (this may have just been in my head) but the wipes themselves still kept performing. They are thick enough to be able to handle the rough treatment and they removed everything I put in front of them.
I never would have thought that I would become a daily wipe user. However Wotnot facial wipes have been a saviour. My skin is so soft and clean and the used wipes are put in our compost.
So easy, so simple, so convenient, so quick and so natural- they definitely offer an easy beauty routine for mums.
