When I received confirmation that I was indeed pregnant, I was excited and wanted to start getting things organised straight away! Being a little early, I thought perhaps it would be prudent to wait at least a few weeks before lashing out and buying maternity clothing, essentials for bub etc…but I was excited nonetheless!

That’s when I began my hunt for free baby samples: not only free, but also very helpful in those early weeks as I learn what suits bub the best without spending a fortune! It curbed my impulses and I loved receiving so much mail without any guilt attached!

I’ve put together a list of samples I’ve claimed so far below, I’d love if you know of any more freebies for new mummas if you could share please. 🙂

Free Baby Box

New! Amazon Baby Wishlist – Welcome Box: This is probably the biggest freebie available right now. A recent arrival in Australia, Amazon offers a FREE Welcome Box valued at over $200! There are a couple of provisos – you need to add a number of items to a Baby Wishlist and order items over a certain value, but it still seems like a good deal considering the value of what’s on offer. You could simply order a first month’s worth of nappies and reach the target to claim your free Welcome Box.

Here’s another mum’s review of the Amazon Baby Welcome Box and their step-by-step guide on how to get it.

Note: These Baby Boxes are super popular and sometimes Amazon is out of stock. But, they also re-stock fast – sign up by email on Amazon for notifications, and they will let you know as soon as they’re back in stock. You can still create and start adding items to your Baby Wishlist in the meantime!

Bounty Bags: Available for all new mums, and it depends what state you’re in as to where you will receive them from! Here in QLD, I got mine when I had my ultrasound at the radiologists, and in WA I received mine from the maternity ward. They Parent-to-Be bags are generally available around 12-14 weeks. There’s also a New Parent bag that you should receive before your baby is more than a few days old. So be sure to ask at your next appointment as they’re filled with great samples and magazines & handy product info! 🙂

If you don’t receive your bounty bag, you can order online via the bounty website, although there is a charge to cover delivery.

Sara 🙂
