Linenly is an Australian-based business that provides organic bamboo sheets. You can buy bamboo sheets, bamboo fitted sheets, bamboo quilt covers or bamboo pillowcases. They also sell bamboo sheet sets that include a flat sheet, fitted sheet and 2 pillowcases.

That’s why we were delighted to receive a set of organic bamboo sheets from Linenly to review. This Australian company’s products are 100% organic bamboo sheets!
Are Linenly Bamboo Sheets Really Organic?
Yes! Linenly’s bamboo sheets are Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex®, which means that they’ve been tested and certified as textile products that used limited quantities of harmful chemicals during the manufacturing process.
But… Are They Any Good?
Although this all sounds good in theory, the problem is that, in practice, bamboo is often cultivated in environmentally dubious ways. More worryingly, to get from bamboo the plant, to bamboo linen can be a lengthy process and some manufacturers make heavy use of nasty chemicals.
We needed a new set of sheets and we had heard that bamboo sheets are better for the environment than cotton. Compared to cotton, bamboo is a less water-intensive crop, grows rapidly, regenerates after harvesting and requires no fertiliser. All sounds eco-friendly, right?
Most importantly, these organic bamboo sheets from Linenly are soft and silky smooth. They’re quite generously sized and Linenly tell us that they’re pre-washed and pre-shrunk, so there should be minimal shrinkage. We have to admit that we like our sheets to be crease-free, so we did iron the top sheet and pillowcases before use.
We’re new to bamboo sheets, and we’re very happy with the feeling of them. We received our set in winter, however, we’re particularly looking forward to using these sheets in summer, since bamboo fabric is supposed to be highly breathable – perfect for Australian summer!
Overall, we’re very happy with these bamboo sheets from Linenly. They feel silky smooth, they look great, they’re breathable, and we feel good knowing that they’re organic and weren’t made with a bunch of nasty chemicals!
